Day one: arriving

You'll be welcomed by a member of the admissions team, shown to your room, and have a medical and psychological assessment. This helps the team build a treatment plan around you.

Detox, if you need it

If you're physically dependent on alcohol or certain drugs, the first days focus on a safe, medically supervised withdrawal. Nurses check on you around the clock and medication is used to keep you comfortable.

Settling into a routine

Once you're medically stable, your days follow a gentle structure: individual therapy, group sessions, meals, rest and wellness activities. The routine itself is part of the healing.

Families are usually invited to take part through scheduled visits and family therapy sessions.
